The KLX351 engine makes abundant torque at low RPM, and the
big boost in torque means this engine is very easy to ride. The flat torque curve means you have good power from early on to over 7500 rpm. Peak horsepower is much better than the 250 engine. Peak HP is reached at a lower RPM point, meaning less high strung engine performance. There's quicker power from idle through the peak. The larger bore allows the KLX engine to gain revs much quicker, equaling much better acceleration.
